mean that in vitro fertilization is ethically wrong? Provide an ethical defense that you feel overcomes the argument against in vitro fertilization based on the sanctity of human life.
Many believe that human reproduction is a human right and that the double effect of losing some embryos is never the intent. It is a mean-spirited policy that would deny these couples the opportunity for childbirth. Perhaps when they are thawed and discarded, some ceremony could be performed to acknowledge that something important has been lost.
