Was war between Britain and the colonies inevitable after 1774? Why or why not?

What will be an ideal response?

Ans: Yes; reconciliation with the crown would be unattainable. Americans already had set values that differed from Britain values, and they were very patriotic. They were willing to die for these values; self-rule, and right to live free of an occupying army, which Britain was not allowing them to do so. Britain was also asking too much to the Americans, which angered and placed many burdens on the way of life of Americans.
