Alibi—witnesses testify in court showing they could not have committed a crime, consent—victim condoning or giving consent to a crime is not a valid defense, entrapment—the government conduct was outrageous and related to a defendants actions, immunity/privilege—special protection against being prosecuted, involuntary actions/duress—action or behavior was not voluntary, mistake/ignorance of law—defendants did not know there was a law for such behavior, necessity—defendant admits to committing the crime however says they had to out of necessity, self-defense—admits to the crime but was defending self, youth—age affects conviction based on maturity and mindset, and insanity—person was not of sound mind when committing the crime(s).
