Explain why a speaker would use transitions. Illustrate your point by giving an example of a transition (it does not need to be a specific example from the text).
What will be an ideal response?
Transitions serve to connect the major sections of a presentation. They help guide
the audience through your talk by indicating to the audience where you are. An example
of a transition is “The first item we must consider is . . .” After being presented with that
transition, the audience knows that the speaker is about to deliver the first main point
and that there are likely more important points to come.
