Assume you are the owner of a nationally franchised pizza restaurant in a large city like New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles. Which types of media would you use, and why?
What will be an ideal response?
Because it is part of a national franchise, the franchisor is probably doing television advertising. As one store owner, television ads would be very expensive and wasteful because no one is going to drive long distances for pizza. Locally, geographically localized advertising including a community newspaper, radio, outdoor, direct mail, and maybe Internet with ordering capability, would be appropriate.
