Refer to Figure 6-4, which is a navigation system. What links are in the top-level navigation bar? How do you know that this is the top-level navigation bar and that the links you listed are part of it? Explain in terms of proximity, alignment, consistency, and contrast.

What will be an ideal response?

The top-level navigation bar has links “Browse,” “Shop,” “Check Out,” and “Contact Us.” This is the top-level navigation bar because the words are bigger and it appears on top of the second navigation bar. The four words are part of the same navigation bar because they all have the same font and the same size, which is an example of consistency. They are all aligned. They all appear above the entries in the second navigation bar (proximity.) They appear with a text color and a background which are different from the entries in the second navigation bar (with the exception of the currently chosen item). This is an example of contrast.
