What was Iwan Bloch’s outlook on female sexuality? Why is it important?

What will be an ideal response?

Bloch claimed that female sexuality is more fluid than that of males. This is a quite significant idea, as it was actually confirmed by subsequent research. He believed that lesbianism, as a primary preference, was not as common as male homosexuality. He generally believed that homosexuality is just a variety of sexual expression, influenced by genetic factors. Bloch also believed that women were actually more sexual than males, but their sexuality was repressed by societal mores and norms. Bloch, among some other researchers of his time, supported the normalization of homosexuality in both sexes, and he also supported the sexual liberation of women, allowing them to have sexual desires and feelings.
