How does the body lose protein and how does it replace it?

What will be an ideal response?

The body loses about 20 to 30 grams of protein each day through a process known as remodeling or "obligatory degradation of protein" and must therefore replace it through foods ingested. In order to prevent an overall loss of protein from the body, we need to consume a minimum of at least 20 to 30 grams of protein daily from food. Overall, this is a small amount of our total caloric intake, but we should consume more than this to be safe.
