Describe a learning environment that promotes cognitive development in infants.
What will be an ideal response?
To promote cognitive development in infants, the environment should be one that is loving and nurturing and one in which their needs are met. A consistent caregiver with whom they develop a relationship helps them feel at ease, a situation which supports their ability to learn. The environment should have interesting colors and patterns and include loving conversation and gentle sounds.
