What is the difference between tribal and intertribal styles and genres?

What will be an ideal response?

• Tribal styles and genres include all those musical practices that are unique to a particular ethnolinguistic community or group of communities. For example, "Navajo music" or "Ojibwa music." Tribal styles are often described by Native people and non-Natives as being more "traditional."
• "Intertribal styles describe the musical genres and practices that are widely dispersed and shared among a number of different Native groups and communities across North America." For example, powwow music or Ghost Dance music. There also are several regional or tribally defined substyles.
