Any of a variety of approaches to this problem are possible, and students should be given license to be creative. The most appropriate responses will likely emphasize one or more of the following features: student-centered learning; multisensory stimulation; multipath progression; multimedia; collaborative work; information exchange; active/exploratory/inquiry-based learning; critical thinking and informed decision making; proactive/planner action; and authentic, real-world context. Other features are possible, and evaluators are encouraged to be open to any reasonable suggestion. Evaluation of student responses might focus on how thoroughly the proposal and its rationale are explained.
