How does the technology differ from typical active learning activities? What is the value added by using the technology? How can the technology help connect information to the child's here-and-now experience? Will the technology be used only for low-level tasks and rote learning? How can the technology aid in developing higher-order thinking skills such as researching, judging, evaluating, analyzing or synthesizing information? Does the program require some action on the part of the child such as drawing, moving things, writing, or searching for and evaluating information? Is the content accurate? What values are evident?
