Why do you think businesses like to use Excel more than Access? What arguments would you make for using both?
What will be an ideal response?
More people know how to use Excel and it is a little more straightforward. Excel is a little more intuitive so people can learn how to do formulas by trial and error, whereas Access requires you to understand how a database works and how the table relationships work. Both programs have their strengths and weaknesses. Excel is better for calculations and charts while Access is better for forms, reports, and queries.
