The hexadecimal number system is referred to as base 16. There are sixteen digits: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F. The advantage of hexadecimal numbers is they are converted directly from four bits of binary numbers, which can reduce error when entering data.
