What will be an ideal response?
Marketers must first determine their objectives. Objectives help marketers to focus on the behaviors they desire from their consumers. Second, marketers need to identify their target markets. Knowing who the target markets are allows marketers to influence those consumers. Third, marketers must decide which media and connectors they will rely on to communicate to consumers. Selecting specific media and connectors through which to communicate provides marketers with effective ways to reach their target markets. Fourth, marketers need to develop compelling communication that will motivate target markets to interact with them. This will provide connectors reasons to convey a marketer's messages to consumers. Finally, marketers are advised to assess market behavior resulting from messages communicated by connectors. Such an evaluation permits marketers to measure the relationship between an organization's communication and its marketing goals.
