Describe the use of a scatter plot in graphing data from a correlational study

What will be an ideal response?

A correlational study produces two scores for each individual. The scores can be shown in a graph known as a scatter plot. The value of a scatter plot is that it allows you to see three aspects of the relationship between the two variables: the direction, the form, and the strength of the relationship.
