What will be an ideal response?

Studies have found consistently that therapist empathy is the most powerful predictor of client progress in therapy.
Regardless of the treatment modality, empathy is a critical component of successful therapy.
The best predictor of a positive client outcome for therapy is the client’s perception of therapist empathy.
Regardless of the counseling modality, successful counseling outcomes are characterized by a high proportion of counselor statements that express empathy components such as client understanding, attentive listening, and openness to the client’s view of things.
No study has found a negative relationship between empathy and client outcome.
