Briefly describe the nested hybrid network model.
What will be an ideal response?
The nested hybrid network model can be considered an adaptation of the basic hybrid model. The core IPv4 Internet remains the same, but sites can be IPv4 or IPv6 or a nested combination of the two. In the nested model, the most likely design would be a small IPv6 "island" existing within a larger IPv4 network. As in the basic hybrid network model, the IPv6 nodes would register their addresses, but this time with a local gateway that exists between the IPv6 subnet and the larger IPv4 site. IPv6 nodes would encapsulate their packets in IPv4 data packets and send them to their local gateways; the gateways would then read the routing information and forward the packets to either an IPv4 node on a different subnet within the IPv4 site or the default gateway to the Internet.
