The Biosphere 2 experiment could be seen as a failure, or it could be seen as an affirmation that nature is exceedingly complex and should not be degraded or destroyed. How do you view Biosphere 2? Explain your answer.

The answer may take several directions. It should include some acknowledgement of unintended consequences, and the limits of our knowledge about how the environment works. The limitation of both our experience and knowledge of the complexity of systems this large may also play a part.
