A protocol analyzer shows that the average frame size of data packets being delivered to and from the campus network’s Internet connection is 1203. Is this a reasonable average? Justify your answer.

What will be an ideal response?

The frame size distribution for most networks is a lot of small packets and
many more large packets. Ethernet packet sizes are limited to 1500 bytes;
therefore, a frame average of 1203 is probably typical.
