What are the cultural influences on attitudes toward homosexuality and transgenderism?

What will be an ideal response?

Evolutionarily, it is supposed that effeminate or less aggressive males were seen as threat for an
entire social group or tribe. Even today, hypermasculine aggressive males are given primacy, which
suggests that this has become a standard for men. Gay males are much more negatively perceived than
lesbians, which is another proof that lack of aggressiveness in males is an important factor. Many
cultures still support negative attitudes toward homosexuality, which is not the case in Western
societies; however, this doesn’t mean that homosexuals in those societies are free from prejudice.
Transgenderism is less accepted in Western societies and often treated as an aberration, but there are
non-Western cultures that value trans communities for their uniqueness.
