What is the wall symbolic of?

What will be an ideal response?

* The wall suggests the various boundaries we put up between ourselves, and the way that we keep our lives separated from others.
* The wall is also part of tradition. Even though there isn't a need for the wall, the neighbor still insists that it be repaired and maintained.
* The wall also represents human creations within the natural world and how natural forces pull them down and erode them.
