What is glare?
What will be an ideal response?
Glare refers to light that is intense and uncomfortable to a viewer. Glare can be generated by luminaires that shine directly into a viewer's eyes. Glare can be reduced by lowering the brightness of luminaires or relocating and shielding them, if possible. Reflected glare is found more frequently. It occurs when light reflects off a surface. It can be controlled by selecting surfaces with low reflectance coefficients, reducing the brightness of the luminaire, or changing the angle of a reflecting surface.
