Explain why an aggregate fruit, such as a blackberry, would have a greater reproductive potential than a drupe (peach).

What will be an ideal response?

Answers may vary; Aggregate fruits are produced from a single flower that contains multiple ovaries. Each ovary has the potential to produce a seed which means fruits like blackberries may contain dozens of seeds while a drupe will contain a single seed. Having multiple seeds gives a plant greater reproductive potential.
