An articulation agreement is a term that refers to an agreement between two colleges to accept credits of equivalent courses for transfer. For a community college student wishing to transfer to a four-year college, an articulation agreement between the two institutions increases the likelihood that his or her credits will be accepted and applied to the Bachelor's degree.
