There are four important points to remember when mixing basecoat color:

2. | Use only the manufacturer's recommended hardeners and reducers (or basecoat stabilizer instead of plain reducer, if recommended). |
3. | Use the proper reducer or stabilizer temperature for the shop conditions and size of the job. |
4. | Use only the proper mixing ratios. |
