How can we repair and rebuild a relationship that has been jeopardized?

What will be an ideal response?

To repair and rebuild a relationship jeopardized by a betrayal, we need to find a way to forgive that person so that we’re able to let go of negative feelings. The act of forgiving involves a multistage problem-solving process similar to the one associated with grief. Initially, a person feels anger and hurt but then finds a way to excuse the specific offense, putting forth more personal and situational understanding of the offender and of themselves. The forgiveness process may be broken down into four stages:
1. experiencing self-justified anger;
2. recognizing that anger does not feel good and desiring to repair the damage to the relationship;
3. realizing that forgiveness has beneficial effects and choosing to let go of our anger fairly quickly; and
4. making the proactive choice to rarely, if ever, get angry.

Data Master is a computer software consulting company. Its three major functional areas are computer programming, information systems consulting, and software training. Cynthia Moore, a pricing analyst in the Accounting Department, has been asked to develop total costs for the functional areas. These costs will be used as a guide in pricing a new contract. In computing these costs, Moore is considering three different methods of allocating overhead costs-the direct method, the step method, and the reciprocal method. Moore assembled the following data on overhead from its two service departments, the Information Systems Department and the Facilities Department.
