Ans: Mixed research designs allow researchers to use quantitative and qualitative methods to address weaknesses in the other. For example, quantitative methodologies allow for the collection of a great deal of data in a relatively quick manner but do not provide information about individual’s interpretations about events. However, qualitative measures allow for assessment of the individual experiences.
