What kinds of ball games might you have children play at age two, four, and six that would be developmentally appropriate for their gross motor skills at the three different age levels?

What will be an ideal response?

At age two, we might involve children in a simple game of catch or a bean bag toss. Two-year-olds can catch a rolling ball and throw a ball overhand at a target. At age four, we could involve children in a game of dodge ball. Four-year-olds can catch a large ball from 5-feet with fairly good accuracy. At age six, we could have the children play basketball, go bowling, kickball, tennis, soccer, and more.
