ANS: B
Oxygen is a colorless, odorless, transparent, and tasteless gas. It exists naturally as free molecular O2 and as a component of a host of chemical compounds. Oxygen constitutes almost 50% by weight of the earth's crust and occurs in all living matter in combination with hydrogen as water. At standard temperature, pressure, and dry (STPD), O2 has a density of 1.429 g/L, being slightly heavier than air (1.29 g/L). Oxygen is not very soluble in water.
