What will be an ideal response?
When light enters the eye, it is projected onto the retina and interacts with the photoreceptors (rods and cones) at the back of the eye. The photoreceptors send information to bipolar cells, which are a little closer to the middle of the eye. The bipolar cells send information to the ganglion cells, which are even closer to the middle of the eye.
