What is meant by the "product" of educational achievement? Discuss methods used to assess

such product or outcome.

What will be an ideal response?

Although it is acknowledged that there are personal and environmental variables that
facilitate the development of achievement, some researchers are content to assess the
outcome or "product" of this  educational process. Educational achievement, in terms of
outcomes, is assessed via academic achievement (standardized test scores), educational
attainment (years of education), and school performance (grade point average; grades in
classes).
