Examples are that social workers may assist older adults in identifying the best surrogate decision makers and lawyers can execute the documentation for those advance directive decisions. Lawyers can identify the laws citing housing rights and social workers can assist clients in finding housing compliant with the client’s needs. The benefits are more comprehensive care to the client with recognition of the context of their issues and solutions in their best interest.
