Is intensive distribution a prerequisite for gaining experience? Discuss.

What will be an ideal response?

Gaining experience does call for an increase in sales. But this does not necessarily mean that the product should be distributed intensively. For example, a computer manufacturer need not seek intensive distribution to gain experience. Thus, the decision to choose among intensive, selective, and exclusive distribution is based on different factors. Experience can be gained under either distribution perspective
