Why is context important in leadership?

What will be an ideal response?

Context is the circumstances in which a leader finds him or herself. These can involve the extent to which decisions need to be made quickly, the nature of the tasks facing a leader and followers, culture, and even geography. All these elements can affect the type of decision made and the leadership behaviors used, which could be different depending on the combination of these elements that are present. The effectiveness of a leader could be influenced by his or her ability to determine the context that is present, identify the best behavior, and switch between behaviors, roles, etc.
