Briefly describe the basic hybrid network model.
What will be an ideal response?
The basic hybrid network model is an example of how IPv6-capable sites communicate with each other over the IPv4 Internet backbone. Each site is presumed to contain IPv6 individual nodes, and each site possesses a gateway that manages IPv6-to-IPv4 transition traffic. IPv6 nodes encapsulate their IPv6 packets in IPv4 data packets and then transmit them to the default local site gateway. The gateway forwards these packets from the IPv6 network through the IPv4 Internet using tunneling technology. At the receiving site, also presumed to use an IPv6 gateway and presumed to be IPv6 capable, the packets are received, removed from the IPv4 encapsulation, and routed to their specific destinations.
