Why is a blood pressure recording required before performing an IPC intervention?

What will be an ideal response?

By determining the internal vessel pressures with a blood pressure evaluation, the individual applying the IPC can select a compression level that does not exceed the internal pressure. Keeping the IPC below the diastolic pressure helps to ensure that the compression is not causing any vessel occlusion.
