How does the hypothalamus control the posterior pituitary differently from the way it controls the anterior pituitary?

What will be an ideal response?

Posterior pituitary hormones are produced in the hypothalamus and transported to and secreted into the posterior pituitary by neurons from the hypothalamus. The anterior pituitary produces its own hormones. The release of these hormones is controlled by releasing hormones produced by the hypothalamus and transported to the anterior pituitary by the circulatory system.
