Do you think professionalism is important in the field of court reporting? Why or why not?

What will be an ideal response?

It is important because it adds integrity to the profession. Those reporters who follow certain standards of professionalism exhibit qualities and ideals that make the profession an honored and worthwhile career. Without professionalism, sloppiness, inaccuracy, incomplete records, and a "don't care" attitude would prevail in producing transcript.
