What will be an ideal response?
(1) Anti-oppression: It focuses on empowering individuals beyond socially constructed identities used to oppress and dominate marginalized groups; (2) Vernacular: It is described as “the everyday” where people are simply members of humankind with similar goals and desires, and the core of humanity is not a divergence of those with and without privilege; (3) Non-ideological: It promotes inclusiveness and positive interrelationships by deconstructing “lines of demarcation,” and recognizes the value of removing areas of demarcation and replacing these spaces with positive structures; (4) Communitarian: It acknowledges “commonweal as the goal of social change.” Commonweal is defined as an intellectual understanding of how each individual contributes to the whole system through choices, actions, thoughts, and words, and how each decision impacts other people and the environment, which inevitably impacts the individual again; (5) Spiritual/Luxocracy: It asserts the interconnection of all natural creations which include, people, animals, plants, and other forms of life on Earth. Luxocracy means to rule by the light of the higher self. Spirituality is considered separate from religion in such a way that permits religious, nonreligious, and the spiritual but not religious, even atheists and agnostics, to be connected and engaged in common dialogue.
