What are the three different NIC teaming configurations that can be used with Windows Server 2016?
What will be an ideal response?
There are three NIC teaming configurations:
* Static teaming-All of the NICs are connected to the same intelligent (teaming capable) switch or router so that the switch can assist in the NIC teaming.
* Switch-independent teaming-Where the NICs can be connected to different switches (or routers) or the same switch, but regardless, the switch(s) do not assist in the NIC teaming.
* Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP)-In Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), the switch or switches are set to enable LACP so that the NICs are automatically teamed into a single logical connection, without the need for the network administrator to configure them.
