Describe the differences between representative, availability and anchoring and adjustment heuristics

What will be an ideal response?

Essay should include:
According to the representativeness heuristic, people make judgments about events according to the populations of events they appear to represent. For example, in families with three boys, what is the chance they will conceive a girl? The representational heuristic might lead us to assume that given the family has three boys, the next child would be more likely to be a girl. However in actuality, chances are higher than average that the next child would also be a boy.
We use the availability heuristic when our estimates of frequency or probability are based upon how easy it is to find examples of relevant events. For example, if I ask you if "John" is a common name, you might base your answer on how many people you know who are named "John," not actual statistics of people who have that name.
Lastly, the anchoring and adjustment heuristic suggests there can be a great deal of flexibility in our judgments. For example, we tend to form an initial opinion on a matter (an anchor), and as we receive additional information, we make adjustments to our perspective. For example, we may adopt our parent's religious viewpoints, and then as we age and gather more information on religious perspectives, change our view.
