Explain how a speaker’s credibility can be enhanced.

Credibility is the confidence an audience places in the truthfulness of what a speaker says. Some people are widely known experts in a particular area and do not need to adapt their remarks to establish their credibility. However, most of us-even if we are given a formal introduction to acquaint with our credentials-will still need to adapt our remarks to demonstrate our knowledge and expertise. You can verbally share your formal education, special study, demonstrated skill, and personal examples and stories. You can also share high-quality examples and illustrations from external sources you discovered through research.
