What do you know about the signaling pathway activated by a receptor tyrosine kinase? What other information is related to the question?

What will be an ideal response?

When a receptor tyrosine kinase is activated it dimerizes and autophosphorylates itself. This then
passes a signal to adapter proteins that carry the signal to other proteins in the cell. At the end of the
signaling pathway a transcription factor is typically activated increasing gene expression.
