Do you believe that affirmative action programs lead to reverse discrimination? Explain

What will be an ideal response?

Reverse discrimination consists of giving preferential treatment in hiring and promoting women and minorities to the detriment of white males. A growing number of majority member workers are complaining bitterly about their own civil rights being abridged, and some are filing first discrimination suits in court. The courts have been deeply divided over the constitutionality of the reverse discrimination that some believe is implicit in minority quotas and double standards. The key here is for the student to wrestle with and identify how society can effectively deal with factual, historical discrimination against minorities in education, employment, and elsewhere.
