Describe male external sex organs.

What will be an ideal response?

Male sex organs are the penis and scrotum. The scrotum is settled at the root of the penis, outside
the abdominopelvic cavity, in order to help efficient cooling because active sperm require a temperature
37.4°F lower than body temperature. The scrotum contains in itself male gonads, or testes, and they are
asymmetrical, with the left one usually hanging lower.
The penis is a copulatory organ, shaped as a tube, with three sections: root (connects penis to body),
shaft (external, longest part of the penis), and glans penis (head—enlarged, covered with foreskin when
not erect). The penis includes three cylinders of erectile tissue, filling with blood during erection.
