The CISG is organized in four parts: Part I (Articles 1–13) contains the convention's general provisions, including rules on the scope of its applications and rules of interpretation. Part II (Articles 14–24) governs the formation of contracts. Part III (Articles 25–88) governs the rights and obligations of buyers and sellers. Part IV (Articles 89–101) contains provisions for the ratification and the entry into force of the Convention.
