What is the relationship between self-efficacy and performance?

Answer: High self-efficacy is correlated with better performance on basic skills tests. There is a smaller relationship between self-efficacy and performance on complex tests, but a correlation does exist. People with high self-efficacy seem to be better performers, and better performers have high self-esteem.
