Describe the “two-bucket” method of automotive soap and water washing.
What will be an ideal response?
With this method two buckets are used, one with soap and water and the second with clear water. The cleaning mitt is first soaked in the soapy water then part of the
vehicle is cleaned. The mitt is then rinsed in the clean water to remove dirt and grime, and then back into the soapy water for more cleaning. This reduces the possibility of
scratching the vehicle during washing.
