AT can take many forms, from simple to complex. For students with visual impairments, for example, a simple type of AT is a keyboard with large symbols that makes it easier for the students to type. A more complex form is speech recognition software that converts the student's spoken words into text on the screen. Similarly, screen reader software can read aloud the information displayed on a computer screen.?
